Book Review for More Straw Bale Building
Mark Hoberecht of HarvestBuild was invited by Chris Magwood to review More Straw Bale Building: A Complete Guide to Designing and Building with Straw, his completely rewritten edition of the 20,000-copy best-selling original Straw Bale Building. The book, authored by Chris Magwood and Peter Mack of Ontario, Canada, will be published by New Society Publishers later this year. The review quote we provided was "More Straw Bale Building contains a wealth of the latest information on planning and building with straw, and is an excellent guide to sustainable construction in general. Magwood and Mack are two of the most knowledgeable and experienced bale builders in North America, and it shows. Their practical treatise is a recommended must-read for anyone considering a straw bale building project." Once the book is released, look for our blurb on the back cover!
