EarthSong Peace Chamber

This straw-bale kiva-style building serves as a retreat and meditation space. HarvestBuild consulted on the design of the building, and led two weekend workshops during the construction process. The peace chamber features a concrete-block foundation below grade, a post-and-beam frame with our baling-on-the-edge straw-bale wall system above grade, cob benches and other sculptural elements, and earth and lime plasters throughout.
